Hi, I’m Kate

I originally entered the wedding industry as a venue owner, after my sister’s wedding at William Allen Farm.

Standing there that day, watching how the space held people and how the day unfolded, something clicked. The setting mattered — but so did the quiet work behind the scenes that made everything flow.

Not long after her wedding, I became the owner of William Allen Farm and began working closely with couples and vendors week after week. Over time, couples started coming to me for help — not with décor or vision, but with the logistics: finding the right vendors, reading contracts, managing payments, and keeping everything organized and on track.

That work became the foundation of Wedding Logistics of Maine

The work behind the scenes

Wedding Logistics of Maine grew naturally out of this experience.

I handle the research, communication, contracts, timelines, and payments — the work that takes far more time than most couples expect — so you can stay focused on the parts of planning that actually matter to you.

As a venue owner, I’ve been involved in hundreds of weddings and have built strong relationships with local vendors across Maine. I’ve seen firsthand where things tend to unravel — unclear roles, missed details, unrealistic timelines, and the sheer amount of time it takes to coordinate everything well.

One of my greatest strengths is seeing the full picture, placing the right people in the right roles, and then giving them the space to do their work well. I don’t try to be everything — I focus on building the right team, coordinating their efforts, and protecting the overall flow of the day.

That’s the part I’m good at.

The way I work

Alongside Wedding Logistics of Maine, I also continue to own William Allen Farm.

Some couples work with me only as their venue owner. Others invite me into the planning and logistics process. Some combine them. Both are welcome.

When couples book William Allen Farm and choose planning support, they receive a discounted rate — but the choice is always theirs. I work anywhere in the State of Maine and with any venue.

No matter how we work together, my focus stays the same; clear communication, steady guidance, and a wedding experience that feels calm supported, and thoughtfully handled.
