BAR HARBOR & DOWNEAST · A TEAM, BUILT RIGHT.Bar Harbor & Downeast Wedding Planner
Bar Harbor, Northeast and Southwest Harbor, the Cranberry Isles and the quiet coast beyond are made for weddings people talk about for years. They’re also a long way from most of your guests. I build a custom team of vendors around your vision and your budget, plan how everyone gets there and where they’ll stay, and place a dedicated coordinator with you on the day, so the whole weekend feels easy.
From Acadia to the outer islands, I handle the distance so you don’t have to.
01 · THE WEEKENDGuests from away
Most of your guests will be traveling, and many will make a long weekend of it. I plan the whole stay, not just the ceremony and reception.

02 · THE SETTINGAcadia, the harbors and the islands
Ceremonies in Acadia National Park need a special use permit from the park, and private estates, harbor-front venues and island settings each have their own rules. I take care of the permits, the timing and the backup plans.

Your budget, kept.
Without a plan
Most couples start planning with a number in mind, but no real way to track it. They find a vendor online and book them, then find the next one and book them too. By the time everyone is booked, the forgotten pieces show up: rentals, transportation, all the small things. A $75,000 wedding ends up closer to $100,000, and a $350,000 wedding turns into a half-million-dollar wedding. These weddings are often understaffed, too, so vendors end up doing work that isn’t theirs and family members spend the day working instead of celebrating.
With me
When you start with me, we set your budget before a single vendor is booked, and every choice is built to fit it. Whether your number is $75,000 or $350,000, that’s the number your wedding is planned to. If you ever go above it, it’s because you chose to, never because something was forgotten. Your wedding also has the right number of people working it, so every vendor can focus on their own job and you and your family can simply enjoy the day.
Begin the Planning Conversation
Couples typically begin with a consultation where we discuss the scope of their celebration and the level of planning support they may need.
