I came to weddings through a barn. My sister was married at William Allen Farm, and watching that day unfold — how the space held people, how every detail carried the experience — changed the way I thought about celebrations. Not long after, the farm became mine.
As the owner of William Allen Farm I have stood alongside hundreds of weddings and built real relationships with vendors across Maine. That is where you learn, precisely, where a celebration succeeds — and where it quietly unravels when the logistics are overlooked. I found myself drawn to that side of the work: the contracts, the payments, the timelines, the careful organization no one sees. It became the foundation of Wedding Logistics of Maine.

The work behind the scenes
I don’t do it all myself, and I never pretend to. My strength is seeing the full picture: identifying the right professionals, bringing them together, and building the structure that lets each of them do their best work.
I hold the money, the schedule, and the relationships — and I stay beside your family from the first conversation to the final reconciliation. On the day itself, a professional wedding coordinator I have chosen runs every detail, so that I can be exactly where I am most useful: at your side, and at every vendor’s.
How I Work
I still own and operate William Allen Farm, and couples who marry there receive a preferred planning rate. But Wedding Logistics of Maine works with couples at venues throughout the state — Kennebunkport, Portland, Camden, Bar Harbor, the islands and the ferries that reach them.
Some couples work with me solely as their venue owner. Others invite me into the planning as their logistics planner. Some combine both. Wherever your day is, the goal is the same: calm planning, thoughtful preparation, and a celebration that unfolds naturally.
